The 216-acre Brookfield Zoo showcases an extensive collection of rare and exotic animals from around the world. Featured exhibits include a dolphin tank, an African animal habitat, an indoor bird and reptile house and more than 400 different species of animals. Other areas at the zoo include a children's petting zoo, butterfly garden, a stingray exhibit and a beautiful carousel. It is located less than 15 miles west of downtown Chicago in Brookfield.
